The Dog House is a new series set inside Wood Green, The Animals Charity, where staff are committed to matching their homeless dogs with hopeful dog owners.
In episode two, we meet a two-year-old Pomeranian called Bear, who was rescued from a life spent caged on a puppy farm. After their last dog systematically chewed, scraped, and destroyed the DIY work on his dream home, father-of-two Paul needed some persuading from his family to entertain the idea of another dog, and are soon introduced to a lovable Staffie called Bailey. Finally, Knobby the Chihuahua puppy is hoping to be a perfect match for couple Alex and Kier.
The amazing stories that feature in The Dog House are just a snapshot of the work that we do here at Wood Green. But you’re in the right place to learn more – and discover what goes on behind the scenes. Read on for some behind-the-scenes content from episode 2!
