Visiting our centre and shops

Access to animals at our centre is by appointment only. The appointments are issued to people who register their interest in our pets and are then matched with one or more of our pets.

You can register your interest in adopting a pet from us by completing our online form here.

If you need any pet related help or advice, we’re still here for you – so don't hesitate to get in touch and for more about the changes we’ve made at Wood Green, visit our coronavirus response page.

All our shops are now open - you can find out more about them here

During this difficult time, we are more dependent on donations than ever before. If you can, please give a gift to Wood Green today. Any amount will help make a difference, ensuring vulnerable pets keep on getting the love and care they deserve.

My son spotted Perry on the Wood Green website – just a few days later, he came home with me. Life just wouldn’t be the same without Perry – he makes me laugh and love every day, and he keeps me fit too!

Wood Green did a wonderful job of nursing Baz back to health, but he was terrified of the world. Over the last two years, he’s transformed into a gentle, sweet-natured, highly intelligent dog with a well-developed sense of humour!

When our old dog died I missed him terribly, but we decided not to have another. Volunteering at Wood Green means I get my ‘doggy fix’ at the same time as helping a good cause.

It makes me so happy to be able to leave a gift in my Will knowing I can help other vulnerable animals in the future. It’s the least I can do to help abandoned animals have a chance of happiness, and a loving family to take care of them.
