Dennis was covered in bald patches – and it was winter, so he must have been freezing. He was suffering from itchy, flaky skin, most likely caused by the fleas and mites he was infested with. His ears were inflamed, and his skin was split in several places. In every sense, he was a sore and sorry sight. After being treated by our Veterinary Team, Dennis’ fur started to grow back – and he was then rehomed in April, where he’s thriving!
Six-year-old Betty had a wound that was so infected we had to amputate her leg. She arrived at Wood Green during lockdown, having been found and handed in to a local Vet. Despite a nasty break to her leg, she was a happy little cat who never stopped purring. Betty bounced back quickly – and found her forever home with loving new owner Alyson, who describes her as ‘an absolute angel’.
