Coronavirus emergency appeal

During this crisis, your donations are vital to help strays like Harry and Jake.

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to affect people's lives, it is inevitable that more pets will sadly be abandoned.

We want to be there for these vulnerable animals, which are often found suffering terribly from injuries and starvation.

Wood Green's devoted teams have been working tirelessly to ensure the care we provide is not compromised at this difficult time,
but they're being stretched like never before. Our ability to raise funds that keep the charity's vital services running has been hugely restricted too,
following the closure of our shops and postponement of fundraising activities. That's why we need your help more than ever.

Injured, hungry and alone

Harry was found on a cold night suffering from a broken leg and a terrible skin condition that left him with almost no fur at all. We treated his skin and, sadly, had to amputate his leg. But Harry was no longer in pain. Today, he's loving his new life by the beach!

Homeless and vulnerable

Jake arrived at Wood Green in a critical condition. He was severely underweight, covered in scabs and had teeth missing. After four months in our care, his skin had cleared up and he reached a healthy weight. Since then he’s found his forever home with a lovely young couple on a houseboat!
