Give pets the gift of a lifetime
Meet Karen, a Woodgreen volunteer, and her gorgeous little Westie, Elland. She adopted Elland from Woodgreen while working as a volunteer with us.

"Woodgreen feels like a family that is working towards creating a kinder world for pets in need. That’s why I have remembered them with a gift in my Will."
Elland is an older dog now, and it’s been a good few years since she bounced into Karen’s life as a puppy. One day, when she’s no longer with Karen, she hopes to start fostering with Woodgreen.
“It’s one way to give something back to the animals I love, and including Woodgreen in my Will is another. It’s a gift that means our love of animals will never fade, and the special bond with pets can flourish – continuing to give pets those second chances at love and helping people connect with their new best friend.”

We're here for them all year round
As you know, Woodgreen cares for pets who have had a hard start in life or whose owners can no longer care for them. These are the pets who need all our love and care.
Many arrive at Woodgreen in need of urgent veterinary treatment to recover from neglect or abuse. All of them enjoy lots of cuddles and play. It’s often a long road to recovery but we’ll do whatever it takes to give them the chance to find a forever home where they will be loved and treasured.
