Building a better home for rabbits

Our team received a call from a rabbit owner who ended up with more than they bargained for when their rabbits had a few accidental litters. We went to visit them, sexed all 25 rabbits and offered a neutering voucher for the dad so that he could be reunited with one of the females without the risk of anymore unexpected surprises.

During our visit, we were able to offer some advice to the owner who wished to improve their rabbits’ accommodation. They wanted to get something much bigger, but they were concerned that transport may be an issue. We offered to help them with delivery if they could find something appropriate. And to their delight, they found an amazing children’s summer house within their budget, which we were able to collect and deliver to them.

The owners were over the moon and can’t wait to begin their DIY project. As well as this, they’re now keeping their eyes peeled for a suitable run to be attached to the converted summer house. Their aim is to have two pairs of rabbits in two large set ups.
