Family and environment
What kind of family am I looking for?Mice can make lovely first-time pets for children who can offer a calm, patient and confident approach. They enjoy coming out to be handled and will take treats from your hands.
What type of environment would suit me?A group of 2-4 mice will need a cage measuring at least 80cm wide by 50cm deep by 35cm high, with bar spacing of no more than 6mm. This will provide them with space for you to add lots of activities for them to climb and explore, as well as giving them enough floor space to do lots of running around on and bedding that they can dig and forage in. Although they are small, they are very busy and energetic.
About BrutusBrutus is a neutered male mouse who is looking for some female companions. He is a friendly mouse and will come up to greet you and sniff your hands to see if you've brought any tasty food for him to eat! Being so young still, he is still getting used to being handled. If you have some female mice looking for a neutered male companion, please complete the registration form below.
