There can be other pets in the home, but the rat enclosure will need to be in a room that can be shut off from any cats or dogs.
Rats make excellent pets for all the family; they are inquisitive and affectionate and love to come out and play.
Rats need to be housed in a large cage filled with suitable enrichment to keep them interested and active. The ideal size cage for 3-4 rats is: 80cm deep by 50cm wide by 80cm high.

Bubbles, Chaos and Cadell are a very sweet trio of boys looking for their forever home either just as a trio or with other male rat friends. All 3 are very curious boys and will come over to the front of the cage to see what is going on. They all enjoy being handled and socialised so would make great first time rats for a new owner. Their 3 favourite things are having somewhere cozy to snuggle and sleep together, having free range time where they can do activities such as pea fishing, and have lots to climb and explore in their cage. If you can offer this trio of well bonded boys their forever home, please do get in touch via the website.
