As with all small pets, we will need to be housed securely away from any other pets in the home.
Mice can make lovely first-time pets for children who can offer a calm, patient and confident approach. They enjoy coming out to be handled and will take treats from your hands.
A group of 2-4 mice will need a cage measuring at least 80cm wide by 50cm deep by 35cm high, with bar spacing of no more than 6mm. This will provide them with space for you to add lots of activities for them to climb and explore, as well as giving them enough floor space to do lots of running around on and bedding that they can dig and forage in. Although they are small, they are very busy and energetic.

This entertaining trio are slowly but surely coming out of their shells and becoming more and more confident each day. Greg is the most confident and will always be out and about watching what you are doing, he loves showing off his speed by darting around his cage. They girls, as they are younger, are more shy and nervous of human interaction but with a patient owner who is happy to help build their confidence they will grow into interactive and sociable mice.
If you can offer Greg and his girls their forever home, please fill out our online request form.
