Fireworks: how to keep your pets safe
Find out how to recognise fear in your pets and keep them safe and happy.
Gussie has historic & current medical concerns, namely a cat bite abscess, anorexia and may have very early kidney disease, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
She has never lived with other animals, so we feel at her age she would be most relaxed without any other cats or dogs.
Any small pets will need to be securely housed.
Gussie is not keen on children, so needs an adult home (older calm teenagers aged 13 and over should be fine). She would like an owner who respects her independent side, but who will fuss her when she asks for it.
Gussie will need access to a safe back garden away from the road. She likes to go outside but has never had a cat flap, so if one is provided she may need to learn to use it.
Gussie came in after 15 years in the same home, when her owner sadly became unwell. She is an independent but friendly lady, who enjoys being stroked when she’s in the mood. Gussie likes to find a cosy bed or sofa indoors, and also also likes to potter outside. She is looking for a companionable retirement home where she can have fuss on demand and lots of cosy snoozing spots!
I'm auditioning a new family, but there are plenty of other cats in need of a good home. Why not take a look?
