Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Molly would thrive in a peaceful countryside setting with minimal noise and quiet places to walk, as she finds busy environments and the sounds of children overwhelming.

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

Molly has been left home alone for shorter periods of time, but this was always with another dog. She should be able to do this again once she’s settled in and had her home alone training worked on.

Do I have any medical conditions?

None

Molly has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

Yes

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

Yes, conditionally - Securely housed small pets

Additional information

Molly previously lived with another dog and really enjoyed the companionship, although she isn’t particularly interested in interacting with other dogs generally.

She has walked alongside other dogs and is comfortable in their company, but tends to keep to herself rather than engage in play or interaction.

Molly could live with a calm, confident dog who is similarly independent and not overly focused on interaction. While any relationship would likely develop gradually, there is potential for a lovely bond to grow over time.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Molly is looking for an adult only home with no visiting children.

She is very worried of children in general and if on a walk, she will try to take herself away from them.

What type of environment would suit me?

Molly will need a private, secure garden that she can run around and play in.

She cannot be in a home with neighbouring children or nearby a school/ playing park due to her fear around children.

About Molly

Meet Molly, a sweet and sensitive girl searching for a gentle, understanding home.

She has all the classic Collie charm in her playful nature, but she also enjoys enrichment activities that keep her clever mind engaged.

Despite being an older lady, Molly certainly doesn’t act like it—she’s full of life and love, ready to share both with the right family.
