Family and environment
What kind of family am I looking for?Mice can make lovely first-time pets for children who can offer a calm, patient and confident approach. This group will need time to get used to being handled and develop their confidence with this.
What type of environment would suit me?A group of 2-4 mice will need a cage measuring at least 80cm wide by 50cm deep by 35cm high, with bar spacing of no more than 8mm. For a group of 6 mice, they will need a cage measuring at least 100cm wide by 50cm deep by 35cm high, with bar spacing of no more than 8mm. This will provide them with space for you to add lots of activities for them to climb and explore, as well as giving them enough floor space to do lots of running around on and bedding that they can dig and forage in. Although they are small, they are very busy and energetic.
About Napoleon Bonaparte, Arthur Wellington, Julius Caesar, Alexander the Great, Erwin Rommel & George PattonNapoleon Bonaparte, Arthur Wellington, Julius Caesar, Alexander the Great, Erwin Rommel & George Patton are a group of young entire male mice who are looking for a home in smaller groups or as a whole group. These young boys love exploring the toys in their enclosure and climbing over any ropes and enrichment they can. Once they have tired themselves out, you can often find them cuddled up together in a hammock. Being so young, they will need to be socialised regularly to get them used to being handled and help with developing their confidence. If you can offer some or all of these mice a home, please complete our online registration forms.
