Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs and everything in between, we’ve got yo...
The boys were left previously and would settle well, often snoozing the time away. Any time left alone in a new environment would need to be built up gradually. They can be quite alert to unfamiliar sights and sounds, so may occasionally bark if something catches their attention.
Prince and Rio both have a luxating patella as well as a heart murmur. At this time, neither dog requires surgery for their knees, but these conditions should be monitored with your vet.
Blue Boy also has a luxating patella, and he will require surgery, which Woodgreen will cover the cost of. Our team can give you more information on the procedure and what aftercare will involve.
Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
Due to the nature of the medical conditions, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before they go home.
From what we’ve observed on site, Prince, Rio & Blue boy prefer to stick together and aren’t interested in interacting with other dogs – they’ve already found their perfect trio
Prince, Rio and Blue boy can go to a home with calm children over 13 years
Due to being rehomed as a trio, and with Rio and Blue Boy being particularly nervous, we don’t feel they would be comfortable living with children. Prince is slightly more confident and may lead the way at times, but all three will need a calm, quiet environment with patient adopters who can give them the time and space they need to settle at their own pace.
Prince, Rio & Blue boy will need a safe garden space to run around in off lead where they can feel comfortable and confident.
Talk about Chihuahua Power!
Prince (Brown & White), Rio (Lilac) and Blue Boy (Golden) are looking for a loving home together! They are extremely bonded and love to snuggle and potter around together. When they’re not snoozing the day away they like to have all the fuss and affection from their humans. Blue Boy even paws you for more.
We would love to rehome the trio together.
I'm auditioning a new family, but there are plenty of other dogs in need of a good home. Why not take a look?
