After a settling-in period, Scout can be left for up to 3 hours providing this is built up gradually. He is settled and likes to relax on the sofa.
This pet has historic medical concerns, namely elbow dislocation and replacement, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
Scout is sociable and playful with other dogs but he can get frustrated if he can’t meet them. He would love to have some walking buddies who are good role models and will play with him but is best as the only dog in the home at the moment. Due to his prey-drive, he cannot live with cats or small animals.
Scout will guard his food, especially high value items, so is best with older children aged 13 years and over who can read his body language and react appropriately.
Scout needs a secure garden to allow him to stretch his legs and burn any excess energy. He does like to have zoomies and is not able to be let off lead in open public areas.
Meet Scout, the life of the party! This playful pup loves to try to make friends with everyone he passes. He’s got a big heart and an even bigger love for playtime, but he’s also learning how to take it easy when the fun slows down. With his sweet and affectionate nature, Scout is ready to bring joy and laughter into any home! If you’re looking for a furry friend who’s always up for a good time and a snuggle, Scout just might be the one for you!
Scout is currently undergoing training to help him walk on a loose lead and head collar. He is also having some training to help him when he gets frustrated around other dogs which our staff will go through with any potential new owners.
