Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs and everything in between, we’ve got yo...
Silky has current medical concerns, namely a possible ovarian remnant, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
Due to the nature of the medical concern, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.
Due to her nervous nature, Silky would prefer not to live with a dog.
She has lived with another cat before, Silky would try to play with the other cat, but the other cat was not interested and had started to chase Silky. Silky could live with another cat, but they will need to be friendly towards other cats. There will need to be careful introductions and they will need enough space and resources to avoid each other if they want.
Can live with securely housed small pets.
Silky will need a quiet room with lots of hiding places where she can settled when she first goes home. She can then gradually be given access to more of the house as she settles and feels more comfortable in the environment. Silky will need access outdoors, ideally to a low traffic area. She will need a private garden for her to be able to go out in and explore, with lots of hiding places for her. She will need to have free access either to the home or a safe area that she can retreat to if she was to get spooked when outside.
Silky is a sweet little lady who is looking for a quiet home with patient owners. Silky is a very shy lady, she likes to have a safe place to hide away. She is likely to take several months to settle in a home and is likely to be a cat that is always of a nervous nature. She does enjoy playing and at night has been seen throwing her toys around.
I'm auditioning a new family, but there are plenty of other cats in need of a good home. Why not take a look?
