Family and environment
What kind of family am I looking for?Mice can make lovely first-time pets for children who can offer a calm, patient and confident approach. They enjoy coming out to be handled and will take treats from your hands.
What type of environment would suit me?A group of 2-4 mice will need a cage measuring at least 80cm wide by 50cm deep by 35cm high, with bar spacing of no more than 6mm. This will provide them with space for you to add lots of activities for them to climb and explore, as well as giving them enough floor space to do lots of running around on and bedding that they can dig and forage in. Although they are small, they are very busy and energetic.
About WhiskersWhiskers is a neutered male mouse looking for some female friends. He is a confident and active mouse who loves to have lots of enrichment to climb and explore. He is very friendly and also enjoys using people as climbing frames! If you can offer Whiskers the home he is looking for, please complete the online registration form below.
