Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs settling in

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

Zeus has been able to be left for a few hours on his own at home.

This would need to be built up gradually but he has the potential to manage this again.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Zeus has current medical condition, namely being underweight, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome Zeus and you are a successful match.

We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

Yes, conditionally - Potentially with a dog savvy cat.

Can I live with small pets?

Yes, conditionally - Securely housed small pets

Additional information

Zeus loves being with people more than other dogs, so he would want to be the only dog in the home.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Zeus has a very sweet gentle nature and is really sociable and cuddly.

We feel he could live with children of any age. Provided the interactions with him are supervised and managed by adult members of the family.

What type of environment would suit me?

Zeus would need a secure garden so that he can potter about with his cuddly toys and sunbathe.

This would need to be at least 5ft fencing and fully enclosed as he can be an escape opportunist.

About Zeus

Zeus is such a sweet and sociable boy with the people he meets. He really enjoys cuddles and fusses from his people, as well as a good selection of soft squeaky toys!

One of his favourite things is a nice sunny spot in the garden that he can sunbathe.  Or when he goes to sleep, he loves curling up on a soft cosy blanket.

He identifies as a lap dog, who will perch his bum on your lap when getting attention; he may even ask for more  if this attention finishes before he thinks it should.
