Scared and shivering, with a tumour the size of a grapefruit
Norman, an 11-year-old terrier, was handed into our care when sadly his owner couldn’t afford to feed him or cover any veterinary care. With a large lump on the top of his head, poor Norman was in a terrible state and needed help urgently.
The ulcerated lump weighed a total of 770 grams. It dominated Norman’s small body and was attracting flies.
Safe and loved by his new family
Norman underwent surgery to remove the heavy lump from his head. Whilst recovering, this older chap got lots of rest, and was given medication to keep him comfortable.
Weeks later, Norman was feeling much better, and we began the search for his new home. In time, he was off to live his golden years with his new family.
