Winnie's fur was so badly matted, she could barely walk

Your support will save lives

Our team worked hard to help Winnie, physically and mentally, until she was ready to trust humans again and find a new home. We're seeing more and more abandoned pets - and we'll never turn them away. Will you help us continue to help them?

Winnie had been left abandoned near some outbuildings

Abandoned near some outbuildings, Winnie's fur was so badly matted that she could barely walk.

When she arrived at Woodgreen, it was clear she needed immediate care. Her matted fur had to be cut right back, which gave her instant relief. Then she was given a warm medicated bath to soothe her skin and encourage her fur to regrow.

Winnie's treatment helped transform her life

A happy ending for Winnie

After her treatment, we needed to find Winnie a new and peaceful home where she would get plenty of attention and love. She found exactly what she needed during the filming of The Dog House, when we introduced her to Lauren. It’s thanks to the generosity of people like you that make this possible.

Will you consider making a small monthly donation so we can continue to be there for pets when they need us?

“Winnie is a confident, sassy, loveable sweetheart. She loves cuddling on the sofa in the evenings and going for long, muddy walks in the forest. She is my absolute best friend, partner in crime and shadow. I don’t know what I would do without her funny little personality and quirky ways.”
