Finnegan's fresh start

Stray pup Finnegan came to Woodgreen with terrible mange and a nasty eye infection. He'd had a tough time, but his tiny tail never stopped wagging. With the right treatment and lots of fuss, Finnegan soon won the hearts of his adoring new family.

Edmund's back on all four paws

Edmund arrived at Woodgreen when his owner sadly passed away. We noticed he was walking strangely and discovered he had a bone disorder. After a lifechanging operation and bundles of love, Edmund was ready to head to his loving new home.

Wheelie is now safe and loved

Wheelie was found abandoned in her cage at the bottom of a bin. She arrived in desperate need of love, care and a meal to fill her tummy. For the first time, she had lots of space to play in and her true personality started to shine! Wheelie soon found a new home with Guen and a bunny buddy to share adventures with.

Life-saving veterinary care

When any pet is brought into Woodgreen, our Vet team’s top priority is their health. We check them over head to paw and tend to any health conditions or injuries. This can range from routine treatments to complex surgeries which save lives.

Dedicated care

We give our pets everything they need while they wait for a home – round-the-clock care, comfort, treats and toys. And of course, lots of fuss!

Support and advice

Our Community Services team work far beyond our centre, providing health and wellbeing checks, working with schools and foodbanks and financially supporting struggling owners.
