At Woodgreen Pets Charity, we want the very best for our cats. That’s why we teamed up with ProtectaPet, an award-winning international leader in cat fencing solutions. Their amazing support has made a huge difference to our feline friends, with a generous gift of their fencing as well as donations through their discount scheme for Woodgreen supporters.

How ProtectaPet help Woodgreen’s cats

In 2018, ProtectaPet kindly donated £2,500 worth of custom-made fencing for the Summer House in the cat section of the charity’s centre in Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire. The Summer House and its garden are extremely beneficial for cats in our care that do not like other cats and need to be away from them. The first resident was Charlotte, an 11 year-old cat who was at the charity for 328 days. Charlotte was found in a vacant property after her owners had passed away, which understandably left her traumatised. After spending much of her life as an indoor cat, the fencing allowed her to have access to a private garden and feel the grass on her paws.
