Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs and everything in between, we’ve got yo...
Bessie has been left home alone for 3 hours in her foster home, she has been calm and settled with free run of the house. She is house trained.
Bessie has a historic medical condition, namely a Gait Abnormality, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed.
Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome him/her and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.
Bessie can get anxious when off-lead dogs run up to her, so her new owners will need to be mindful when choosing walking routes, she can at times be reactive and bark and lunge at dogs. She has enjoyed going for walks with calm, well-mannered dogs and tends to prefer larger dogs over smaller ones.
Bessie is looking for a home with teenagers, 13+.
She can be worried by new people but once she’s got to know you, she’s an affectionate girl. She is looking for understanding owners who can see when she’s worried.
Bessie will need a secure, private garden in her new home so she’s got an area to burn off her energy and to help her with toilet training. Bessie requires fencing with 6ft as the minimum as she has shown incentive to want to jump over fences.
Bessie is a ball of fun, full of beans. She just makes you smile from the moment you see her. Bessie really enjoys human company and gives the best cuddles and she loves sitting on laps. Bessie also really enjoys getting some fresh air and exploring the environment in good ole fashion Terrier ways.
