Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs and everything in between, we’ve got yo...
Cookie would be able to build up some home-alone skills gradually once she has fully settled into her new home.
She was found as a stray and nothing is known of her previous experiences.
Cookie has existing medical conditions, namely otitis externa and Pododermatitis that will require consideration before she is rehomed.
Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome her and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking the dog home.
Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.
Cookie is to be the only dog in the home, we can demonstrate how to introduce her to dogs to potentially allow walking buddies in the future.
We feel like Cookie would be best suited to an adult-only home due to being wary of strangers.
It will take time for her to feel comfortable and bond with new people but over time you will see her happy and excitable nature come through.
Cookie would love to have her own secure, private garden to sniff and explore, it will also be a safe space for her to have some freedom to run around or play with her tennis balls.
Cookie is a cuddle monster and an absolute goofball!
Once you are in her friendship group all she wants is to cuddle and get all the belly rubs.
She loves to go for her walks and wander around with her favourite people.
