Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

Cookie would be able to build up some home-alone skills gradually once she has fully settled into her new home.

She was found as a stray and nothing is known of her previous experiences.

Do I have any medical conditions?

History of

Cookie has existing medical conditions, namely otitis externa and Pododermatitis that will require consideration before she is rehomed.

Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome her and you are a successful match.

We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking the dog home.

Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.

Additional information

Cookie is to be the only dog in the home, we can demonstrate how to introduce her to dogs to potentially allow walking buddies in the future.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Cookie is looking for a calm, understanding home with dog-savvy children aged 13+, who can respect her space as she builds trust.

Once she’s comfortable, Cookie is a lovable goofball who adores belly rubs, cuddles, and playtime with her favourite people. She bonds closely with those she trusts and lights up with excitement when she sees them.

What type of environment would suit me?

Cookie would love to have her own secure, private garden to sniff and explore, it will also be a safe space for her to have some freedom to run around or play with her tennis balls.

About Cookie

Meet Cookie, the sweetest lady with the biggest heart, who’s also a bit of a goofball. Once you are her friend she melts your heart. She likes to spend most of her time on her back receiving some belly rubs (or rolling in the grass). Cookie loves her food and is super treat orientated, she is often nicknamed “the Cookie Monster”.

Cookie can be very playful and loves to chase her tennis ball, but she’ll make sure you don’t forget to take it home, helping carry it all the way back. She enjoys her walks and likes to plod along beside you or enjoys following a sniff.

She is looking for her forever home, who can offer her unconditional love and as many belly rubs as your arms can manage! She’s super clever, always up for learning new things, she is loyal and is always their to lend a comforting paw when you need it. Could this wonderful girl be the cookie to your crumble?
