Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Dash is looking for committed, training minded owners who can support him in building his confidence around other dogs and the ways of the world.

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

After a settling in period and his training being worked on, Dash may have the potential to be left alone. Dash does love his chews and toys which we would suggest leaving him with when home alone training.

Do I have any medical conditions?

None

Dash has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

Yes, conditionally - Securely housed small pets who are kept separate

Additional information

Dash is reactive to other dogs when he’s out on his walks due to being worried by them, however, he is doing really well with his training. Dash is very under socialised around other dogs but, with the right dog, we have found he has been playful and interactive. Once Dash is further along in his training he could walk with another dog who is confident, well rounded and can show Dash the ropes on how to interact with his doggy friends appropriately.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Dash could live with children aged 11+.

As he’s not seen much of the world, he does have some worries so any children should engage with him calmly and constructively.

He can be a little worried of new people and will need positive introductions.

What type of environment would suit me?

Dash requires a secure, private garden where he can burn off some energy in a safe space. Dash does sometimes find his walks scary so a garden is ideal for him figuring out the world safely and at his own pace.

About Dash

Dashing by name, dashing by nature! Dash is looking for an understanding family, who will help him navigate the big wide world. He is a very clever boy who likes to engage and please his people and enjoys learning new skills and tricks. Dash loves nothing more than zooming around, playing in the garden and then coming back for cuddles.
