This pet has a current medical concerns, namely a heart murmur, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. It had largely resolved when Elmo was calmer and will be rechecked when he has his neuter operation. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
We think he can live with cats, dogs and securely caged small animals.
Elmo is very social when settled, but while he’s settling he will likely be very worried and averse to unpredictable and high energy situations, so we are asking that any children be over 7 years old.
Elmo will need access to the outside in his new home.
Elmo is a very chatty boy, that came into us as a stray, so we don’t have much history for him. What we do know is that Elmo is a very social cat that is desperate for a family and home to call his own. He very much enjoys fuss, company and head and cheek rubs. When he’s not busy being fussed over, Elmo likes to play. He’s not fussy with toys, he enjoys all of the toys he’s encountered so far. He can be a little shy at first (not that that stops him from chirruping at you) and once he’s found his feet his social side comes out to shine.
I'm auditioning a new family, but there are plenty of other cats in need of a good home. Why not take a look?
