Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs and everything in between, we’ve got yo...
As with all small pets, we will need to be housed securely away from any other pets in the home.
Mice can make lovely first-time pets for children who can offer a calm, patient and confident approach. They enjoy coming out to be handled and will take treats from your hands.
A group of 2-4 mice will need a cage measuring at least 80cm wide by 50cm deep by 35cm high, with bar spacing of no more than 6mm. This will provide them with space for you to add lots of activities for them to climb and explore, as well as giving them enough floor space to do lots of running around on and bedding that they can dig and forage in. Although they are small, they are very busy and energetic.

Ghost Face is a very sweet neutered boy looking for some female mice friends to snuggle up with. He is such an active boy, often seen out exploring his unit and enjoys having lots to keep him occupied. He can be quick when trying to catch, but once got he is great at being handled and loves a little head rub! When is not out exploring, he can often be found sleeping snuggled up in a cosy hammock. If you can offer this very cute little boy his forever home with some girl mice friends, please do get in touch via the website.
