Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs and everything in between, we’ve got yo...
Rosie has current medical concerns, namely heart murmur, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
Can live with small animals if securely housed. Could live with another cat-friendly cat with slow introductions. No dogs as they would find this stressful.
Rosie and Lilly would prefer to live with adults and children 7 and over, the older the child the better. Lilly is particularly frightened and especially while settling in, she doesn’t want to be approached or touched. Rosie a little less scared but still very shy. These two need lots of time and patience to gain their confidence.
These two will need both indoor and outdoor access. They aren’t cat flap trained. They are used to moderate levels of traffic in built up residential areas so are fairly roadwise. In the home there needs to be lots of hiding areas where they can tuck away and have a quiet area to settle.
Rosie and Lilly came to us as their owner could no longer care for them. They came as a pair and we feel they would like to remain together as they appear bonded. Particularly, Rosie offers support for Lilly who is even more nervous. These two would be alright with children 7 and over although the most important part is that they are calm, quiet and will leave the pair alone while they settle. They don’t like lots of loud noise. While settling their appetite is also a bit funny so may need some time until they eat well. Despite feeling nervous and unsure, Rosie and Lilly are sweet and with some time we feel they will be happy to get some love and affection. Could you help these two come out of their shell and give them a safe and loving home?
