Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs some support

Can I be left alone?

Yes

We feel that following a settling in period, and providing his daily needs are met, his home alone could be built up slowly.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Milo has current medical conditions, namely allergic skin disease and an ear infection that he’s on treatment for, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Milo has also had a benign lump removed from the side of his neck. This does not require any further treatment.

Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome him/her and you are a successful match.

We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.

Due to the nature of the medical conditions, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

Yes, conditionally - He could potentially live with bold and dog-savvy cats again that will tolerate him.

Can I live with small pets?

Yes, conditionally - Any small pets should be securely housed.

Additional information

In his new home, Milo would prefer to have his own space where he is able to relax and not get over excited by another dog. He could have visiting dogs that will be happy around his playful, bouncy personality.

In Milo’s previous home he lived with 2 cats, however he would often want to play with them and they did not want to. He could potentially live with bold and dog-savvy cats again that will tolerate him. Milo could be called away and distracted in the home.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

He can be a worried boy around strangers. Due to this we would suggest older children, 11 years and over, who can understand when he needs space.

What type of environment would suit me?

Due to Milo’s energy and worried nature, we would advise that he has his own secure, private garden to enjoy.

About Milo

Milo is a lively, affectionate pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s always up for fun, whether it’s a game of tug of war or a slightly unconventional round of fetch (he might forget the bringing-it-back part, but we love him for it!).

Though Milo can be a little anxious at times, with the right understanding and a gentle approach, he’ll soon show you his loyal and loving side. Once he feels safe and knows you’re his person, he’ll happily soak up all the attention you can give.

Milo thrives on adventure—he absolutely lives for long, sniff-filled walks, either solo or with his canine companions. He’s curious, playful, and a joy to be around.

If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate buddy who just wants to be by your side, Milo might just be your perfect match.
