Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs and everything in between, we’ve got yo...
Penny has historic/reoccurring medical concerns, namely a flea allergy (can be managed by keeping on top of flea treatment) and overgrooming, that will require consideration before she is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
Due to the nature of the medical concern, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.
Penny would prefer not to live with another cat or dog as she has found this very stressful in the past. She could live with securely housed small pets
As Penny is quite a worried cat, especially when settling in a new environment, she is looking for a home with children over 13yrs. They will need to be calm and respectful of her boundaries.
Penny is looking for a quiet home where she will have plenty of hiding spaces available to her. Whilst settling, she will need a quiet room to get used to the home, before gradually giving her more access to the home as her confidence grows. She will need access to the outdoors once she is settled. She would benefit from having access to a private garden to venture out in with hiding spaces available to her. She should always have access to get back in the home or a safe area should she get spooked by anything.
Penny is a cute little lady. She can be very shy to being with and needs time and plenty of hiding places to settle into her new home. Over time, Penny’s confidence grows and she enjoys a gentle fuss. She is looking for a calm home where she can feel safe.
