Pet advice from Woodgreen
From behavioural issues to dietary needs and everything in between, we’ve got yo...
Sid has a few medical issues, which are now resolved, however may not be covered by insurance. These are: cystitis, head tremor and jaundice. In recent blood tests his liver enzymes have been raised, however our vets are happy that this is not affecting him and he is healthy.
Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome him and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
Due to the nature of the medical concern, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home
Sid likes to be the centre of attention, so no other cats or dogs in his new home please and thank you!
Due to his hunting prowess, it would be best if there were no small pets either.
Sid is not keen on younger children, so would be best with 13yrs and over. He loves attention and fuss when he is not roaming the countryside but can be pretty full on when he plays so this would be the best recommendation for all involved.
Sid would enjoy living in a rural area where he has loads of space to run around, hunt and explore! He isn’t used to high levels of traffic, so would need to be introduced to the outside through a garden and away from the road.
Sid is a known fighter, and will also spray to mark his territory around other cats, so a low cat populated area would be best for him (and the floors of his new home!)
He is cat-flap trained and will need one to be able to come and go as he pleases 24/7.
This handsome chap is Sid! If you listen carefully you may even hear him shouting with his distinctive Bengal yowl!
Sid is a super lively and chatty boy. He loves people, enjoys the occasional bit of lap time and most importantly PLAY! His favourite toys seem to be little crinkly balls, he’ll even play a bit of fetch with you if you’re lucky. Sid will go mad for catnip, so it’s best to stay out of the way of his paws and claws when he gets into that!
As a Bengal, Sid likes to roam and explore the big wide world. He is an avid hunter, so expect gifts after his adventures. He will likely spend almost all of his time outside in the warmer months, staying closer to home in Winter when its cold and wet.
Sid is such a special character, he has stolen the hearts of everyone here at Woodgreen, hopefully it won’t be long before he has stolen yours too.
