Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs some support

Can I be left alone?

Yes

Annie has previously been left for up to 8 hours whilst her owner was at work. During this time, Annie would have free roam of the house and tend to make herself comfortable on the sofa for a snooze.

Please note this time was built up slowly in a home she was settled in. Her home alone time will need to be built up again slowly, once she has settled into her new home.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Annie has current medical conditions, namely a Cataract in her left eye and increased Liver enzymes (Likely age related), that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed.

Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome her and you are a successful match.  We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.

Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

No

Additional information

Annie would like to be the only pet in her new home.

Annie is not looking for interactions with other dogs and would prefer to have space from other dogs when on her walks.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Could live with children aged 13 years +.

Annie can be quite an independent lady at times and can take time to make friends but once she does she loves a game of ball and a fuss.

What type of environment would suit me?

Annie will need her new home to have a secure, private garden where Annie can benefit from a space of her own where she can play and explore off lead.

About Annie

At 11 years young, Annie is a terrier with attitude, confidence, and a fabulously scruffy coat that perfectly matches her personality.

She knows exactly what she wants in life and she’s clear in communicating that with her friends. Annie isn’t just a dog… she’s the leading lady of her own show, and she expects her future family to appreciate her star quality!

She is a sassy sweetheart who sets boundaries and appreciates humans who respect them. She’s independent, clever, and loves to strut her stuff. Don’t let her age fool you, she still has plenty of pep in her step and enjoys her walks as well as playing with her toys! Annie believes toys to be the best thing that exists (maybe along with cheese!) and is looking for a home with a toy box over flowing with balls and anything with a squeaker in it! After a good walk and play session, Annie is more than ready to curl up on the sofa for a well-deserved snooze.

She’s the perfect mix of fun-loving and cosy companion. Are you ready to welcome this scruffy superstar into your life?
