Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

Aurora has been left home alone previously however she did struggle with this. She will need any home alone to be built up gradually once she has started to settle into her new environment.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Aurora has current medical conditions, namely inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) which requires her to have a fish only diet, pyoderma, and a hypersensitivity (allergic) skin disorder, which will require consideration before she is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to provide further information if you apply to rehome her and are a successful match.

We would also advise that any medical conditions, whether historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking her home.

Due to the nature of these medical conditions, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before Aurora goes home.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

Yes, conditionally - Aurora can live with small pets as long as they are kept securely and separate from Aurora.

Additional information

Aurora will need to be the only dog in the home and her interactions with other dogs will need to be managed. Aurora has been muzzled trained and is comfortable wearing one and we would strongly recommend that she continues with this.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Aurora can live with children aged 11+.

What type of environment would suit me?

Aurora will need a garden of her own where she can play, zoom and relax in.
