Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Can I be left alone?

No

Bella has never been left home a lone before.

Onsite we have seen Bella get worried when we leave her. Her home alone will need to be built up slowly once she has fully settled into her new home.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Bella has a historic medical condition of a umbilical hernia,(resolved) she also has current medical conditions, namely Patellar luxation, Blocked tear duct and a Eyelid abnormality, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed.

Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome her and you are a successful match.  We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.

Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

Yes, conditionally - Bella could live with robust male dog

Can I live with cats?

Yes

Can I live with small pets?

Yes, conditionally - Potentially suitable to live with securely housed small pets

Additional information

Bella has lived with a male dog previously.

She could live with dog again, if male. She has shown a lot more sociability and playfulness with males and enjoys their company. Her new friend will need to be robust and tolerate her play style.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Could live with children aged 11 years +.

Bella is quite the worried lady, we feel if she were to live with children, it would need to be older children 11 years + who can understand Bella’s worries.

What type of environment would suit me?

Is it essential that Bella’s new home has its own secure, private garden. She needs her own space where she can feel safe, play and enjoy some zoomies.

About Bella

Bella is a truly special lady with a gentle spirit.

She can feel a little unsure when meeting new people but patience and kindness go a long way with her. It doesn’t take long for Bella to warm up, and once she trusts you, her loving nature shines through.

Bella adores being close to her humans and finds comfort in simply being by your side. She’s loyal, affectionate, and always ready to offer her heart to those who treat her with care.

Staffies might be small but they’ve got big hearts. If you like affectionate dogs, they could be the breed for you! Learn more about the breed at Ask Woodgreen.
