Could you open your home to foster cats and kittens?
Fostering gives pregnant mums and their kittens the best possible start in life.
Hamsters are solitary creatures and should live alone.
As with all small pets, Bidoof will need to be housed securely away from any other pets in the home.
Hamsters spend most of the day time hiding away and sleeping. They are most active during the evening and overnight. Bidoof is a friendly but nervous hamster who will benefit from a family who will interact in a calm and patient manner.
Syrian hamsters need a cage or ideally a tank measuring 100cm wide, by 50cm deep, by 50cm high. If you have a cage the bar spacing should be no more than 1cm.
All hamsters need a minimum of 6 inches of substrate around most of their enclosure, with a deeper digging space of at least 12inches (30cms) to enable them to create burrows and nests.
Bidoof is a very sweet hamster who loves to dig and make dens in her deep substrate. She is a gentle girl, who can be sensitive to loud and sudden movements often retreating back into her cosy bed. Despite having a more nervous nature, this doesn’t stop her exploring around at night and being friendly with her carers. She is good to handle and will enjoy taking some tasty treats from your fingers. As long as you’re quiet and can be a little more patient with Bidoof, she will show you what a lovely personality she holds in that soft, squidgy body of hers.
If you have the perfect home and can be the loving and patient family Bidoof deserves, please do get in contact with us through the website.
