Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs settling in

Blue understands the basic cues and would love to learn more. He is motivated by food and praise.

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

Blue will need a settling in period and time spent with him to build up his home alone time.  He would be best only being left for short periods at a time and time can be built up slowly depending on how he copes.

Do I have any medical conditions?

None

This pet has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

Yes

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

Yes, conditionally - Could live with securely housed small animals if he can be separated from them.

Additional information

Blue has been too much for cats he has met previously.  He is more interested in interacting with larger dogs and tends to ignore smaller dogs.  He can be a little worried if other dogs bark at him but has happily shared his living space with another dog previously so could potentially live with one depending on how they get on.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Blue has been good for general handling and has met children before.  He can be worried of new people and would be best with children aged 8+.

What type of environment would suit me?

Blue would enjoy pottering in a garden but it isn’t essential that he has one.

About Blue

Blue is a handsome gentleman who adores his people. He seeks fuss, snuggles, and reassurance, and his whole body goes wiggly the moment he sees someone he loves. Blue shows his affection with enthusiasm and will happily smother you in kisses to prove it.

Fallen in love?

I'm auditioning a new family, but there are plenty of other dogs in need of a good home. Why not take a look?
