Additional information

Butch has a good history of socialising with other dogs; he would regularly meet up with his doggy friends in the park. Onsite, Butch has been social with everyone he has met onsite, he loves to play and could live with another well rounded dog in his new home. If not living with, we’re sure Butch would love to make friends with dogs out on his walks.

Butch has never lived with a cat but attempts to play with neighbourhood cats; the resident cat should be bold and confident.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Butch is looking for an fun, active family that can take him on all life’s adventures. Butch would suit a home with children aged 8+ that can be his companions and engage in his care and training. Butch does sometimes jump up to greet, so we are working on keeping his paws on the floor! Butch does love his walks but can be very strong on lead; we are practicing some training with him. In the future and with further training, he may be able to go off lead.

What type of environment would suit me?

Butch underneath is quite a sensitive chap, he’s not keen on loud noises or busy areas. Butch would like to go on walks away from busy main roads and live in a quiet area where he won’t be worried by too much traffic. Butch needs his own, private secure garden where he can run around and play and assist with his training.
