Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Rabbits do enjoy the companionship of humans and can become very affectionate and enjoy taking tasty fresh forage from your hands. Rabbits do not enjoy being handled and they can find loud noises and sudden movement scary, so they are often suited to families with slightly older children.

What type of environment would suit me?

Rabbits need lots of space to keep them fit, healthy and happy, the ideal outdoor accommodation for a pair should consist of either a shed/wendy house or a 1.8m (6ft) single level hutch, attached to a 3m long by 2m wide by 1m high run.

About Captain

Captain is a lovely single neutered male looking for bunny companion. He is a confident boy who will often come over to see what you are doing and enjoys having a little head rub. One of Captain’s favourite things is having loads of cardboard boxes! He loves to sit in/on them, chew them and tossing them around his unit. He is a very clever boy who particularly enjoys having puzzle feeders to keep him occupied and stimulated. Another hobby of Captain’s is shredding newspaper suggesting he maybe best suited to an outdoor home. Apart from this, he is know to be a tidy boy and will often toilet in his litter trays provided. If you have a bunny looking for a companion, please do get in touch via the website.
