Could you star in The Dog House?
If you're looking for a match, filming for the next series starts this Spring.
Chester has current medical concerns, namely sore patches on his hocks, that will require consideration before he is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.
Chester has lived with a cat previously without obvious issue so should be okay to do so again as long as introductions are slow and there’s enough space and resources.
We don’t know if he’s ever been with a dog before so he may be okay to live with one but due to his skittish nature initially, the dog will need to be calm.
Small pets will need to be securely housed.
Chester would feel most comfortable with families that have children over the age of 7 that can give him space to settle in and approach when he feels comfortable to do so.
Chester will need access to the outdoors in his new home. He would thrive best in a low traffic area away from busy roads with a private garden he can explore in initially whilst finding his paws.
Meet Chester!
Chester is a young, sensitive soul who’s looking for a calm, understanding home where he can blossom at his own pace. New sights, sounds, and situations can make him feel a bit worried and skittish at first, so he’ll need a patient home who are happy to let him take the lead and settle in slowly.
Once Chester feels safe, his true personality shines through. He’s affectionate and forms bonds with the people he trusts, rewarding kindness with gentle cuddles and quiet companionship. Watching him gain confidence and choose to come to you is truly special.
Chester would thrive in a peaceful environment with predictable routines and plenty of cosy hiding spots while he builds confidence.
