Fireworks: how to keep your pets safe
Find out how to recognise fear in your pets and keep them safe and happy.
As Lumi came to us as a stray, we are unsure as to whether she has been left home alone before. In her new home, we feel she may be able to build up to approximately 3 hours home alone, but this training will need to be started from scratch once she is well settled into her new home.
This pet has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming.
Lumi is very polite and playful with most dogs, but can be worried of some dogs who are bouncy and energetic. She therefore has the potential to live with another dog of similar personality, pending an onsite dog mix.
Lumi can be a little worried and unsure around new people, but is gaining more confidence each day and now becomes excited to see her regular handlers. Due to this, she is looking for a home with children aged 8+ who can give her space when she needs it, and who won’t be worried by her excited lurcher zoomies!
Lumi is looking for a home where she will have access to her own private and secure garden to support her with toilet training, and give her opportunities to enjoy some safe off-lead time.
Lumi – meaning “snow” in Finnish – is a sweet, affectionate lady with a heart of gold. Since arriving with us, she’s blossomed in confidence and shown her gentle, loving nature. Lumi is ready to bring warmth and joy to a lucky family who will adore her as much as she’ll adore them.
Before we get started, please confirm you’re comfortable with the level of ongoing support Lumi needs. If you’re ready to make that commitment you won’t be on your own: our specialist teams will be on hand for as long as you need us.
I'm auditioning a new family, but there are plenty of other dogs in need of a good home. Why not take a look?
