Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Can I be left alone?

Yes

Malone could potentially be left for up to 5 hours in his new home.

Any home alone training will need to be built gradually once he is well settled into his new home and environment.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Malone has current medical conditions, namely diet and skin sensitivities, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed.

Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome him and you are a successful match.

We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.

Due to the nature of the medical condition, a call with one of our onsite vets will be arranged for you before he goes home.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

No

Additional information

Malone will need further socialising around other dogs before having any dogs visiting his home.

He could potentially walk with other large, calm dogs, but he can still be full-on and is too much for some.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Malone is an affectionate boy who gets quite bouncy and excited around his favourite people.

He can therefore live with children aged 8+ who are understanding of his size and strength.

What type of environment would suit me?

Malone is looking for a home where he will have his own private, secure garden, where he can enjoy some time off lead and have lots of space to play!

About Malone

Malone is a huge boy with lots of love to give; he’s a whopping 52 kilograms and needs a family experienced with large breeds.

He can be strong on the lead but is now head collar trained and is looking for an owner who can continue his loose lead training.

He has been incredibly sweet and loves people, he’s bundles of fun and guaranteed to make you laugh!

The Great Dane is a gentle giant! This big breed is sensitive, affectionate and needs space to spread out! Learn more about the breed at Ask Woodgreen.
