Fireworks: how to keep your pets safe
Find out how to recognise fear in your pets and keep them safe and happy.
As Pastina was a stray, we are unsure as to whether she has been left on her own before. This will therefore need to be built up gradually from scratch after she has settled into her new home. With the correct training, Pastina should be able to be left for up to 3 hours.
Pastina has an ongoing medical condition of grade 1 patellar luxation, which will require consideration before this pet is rehomed.
Pastina also has an undershot jaw however there is no clinical concern with this.
Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome her and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
Pastina can be worried around some dogs, and with others can be confident and overly excited. Due to this, Pastina would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but could build up to having some walking buddies after some further training around other dogs.
Pastina is a very friendly girl, but can become quite over-excited around people. She is therefore looking for a home with children aged 11+ who will understand her excitable nature and give her some space to settle and have quiet time.
A garden may be beneficial for toilet training but is not essential for Pastina as long as there is easy access to outdoor spaces.
