Support and Health

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Pickles has current medical concerns, namely diarrhoea (resolved) with occasional blood in faeces, that will require consideration before he is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment.

Due to the nature of the medical concern, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

Yes

Can I live with cats?

Yes

Can I live with small pets?

Yes

Additional information

Could live with another cat with careful introductions. May be ok to live with a calm, well-behaved dog. Pickles is on a special diet and so you will need to be able to feed him separately to any other pets in the home. He can live with securely-housed small animals.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Pickles can be a little shy to start and so is looking for a family with children 7yrs+

What type of environment would suit me?

Pickles would love a home with access to indoors and also outdoors into a secure garden that is preferably away from busy roads as we are unsure how much experience he has outside.

About PIckles

Pickles came in to us when his owner sadly became unwell. Pickles is a sweet boy who rewards you in the best way by loving all of the fuss he can get. His black and white coat makes him look like a tiny gentleman in a tuxedo, and his personality matches — calm and quietly affectionate.

Could you be the one to give Pickles the safe, loving home he deserves?

Things to note

Pickles is currently living in a foster home and will be allocated a temporary unit at the centre on the day of book-out. Most cats find unfamiliar environments quite stressful and this can affect their behaviour in the cattery, meaning that you might not be able to observe what the cat’s temperament is typically like in a familiar setting. If you would like to meet this cat prior to rehoming, as a minimum you will be able to see the cat, but this may be the extent of the interaction depending on the cat’s response to the new environment.
