Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs ongoing support

Can I be left alone?

Potentially, once settled

Due to coming to us as a stray we cannot be sure as to how Rocky may behave when left home alone. We recommend that his home alone time is to be built up gradually, once he has started to settle into his new environment.

Do I have any medical conditions?

None

This pet has a clean bill of health and can be fully insured after rehoming.

Additional information

Rocky is looking for a home where he can be the only dog. He can benefit from walking alongside other friendly, sociable dogs, though his enthusiasm can occasionally be a bit much for some. His new owners will need to support him by being selective with dog interactions, helping him build calmer, more positive experiences.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Rocky could live with children aged 13 and over, as he can be a little cautious with new people and benefits from a calmer environment.

What type of environment would suit me?

Rocky will need his own private garden with 6ft fencing.

About Rocky

Rocky is a young Mastiff cross with big puppy-dog eyes and an even bigger heart. This handsome lad is a large, soppy boy whose brightest feature-besides his size-is his wonderfully joyful personality. Rocky absolutely loves affection, both giving and receiving. Cuddles, fuss, and quality time are high on his list of favourite things, and once he’s comfortable, he’ll happily shower you with love in return.

He’s a playful youngster who enjoys getting stuck into games and will happily give agility a go, even if his enthusiasm sometimes outweighs his coordination! Rocky adores his toys, though his aim isn’t always spot-on-which only adds to his charm and keeps everyone smiling.

While Rocky can be a little shy when meeting new people, he doesn’t take long to warm up. Once he does, his bubbly, loving, and infectious personality shines through, and he quickly becomes the affectionate, goofy companion he truly is. Rocky is looking for a home that will enjoy his playful spirit, offer him plenty of love, and help him continue building his confidence. In return, he’ll reward you with loyalty, laughter, and endless puppy-dog eyes.

Could Rocky be the big softie your home is missing?
