Support and Health

How much training will I need?

Needs settling in

Can I be left alone?

Yes

Skittles has been left home alone previously but this hasn’t been for awhile.

She will need a settling in period when she goes to her new home and any home alone training worked on and has the potential to be left for half a day.

Do I have any medical conditions?

Existing conditions

Skittles has a few medical conditions, namely an ear infection that she’s currently on treatment for, a mass which has been removed and she requires a dental, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match.

We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.

Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before the pet goes home.

Who I can live with

Can I live with dogs?

No

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

Yes, conditionally - Securely housed small pets

Additional information

Skittles is social with other dogs and enjoys meeting them out on walks, she will have a sniff then plod off and do her own thing.

In her previous home she was said to be playful with other dogs but we haven’t seen that side of her yet.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Skittles can live with children aged 5+.

She’s an affectionate girl who likes a cuddle and getting all the fuss she can.

Her favourite thing is to spend time with her people and bring brushed.

What type of environment would suit me?

It isn’t essential that Skittles has a garden in her new home as long as she gets plenty of toileting opportunities.
