Fireworks: how to keep your pets safe
Find out how to recognise fear in your pets and keep them safe and happy.
In Thunders most recent home he was left up to 4 hours, he was settled and would choose to sleep in his arm chair. Any time home alone will need to be built up again after a settling-in period.
Thunder has a current medical condition, cherry eye, which has been corrected via an operation. This will require consideration before he is rehomed.
Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome him and you are a successful match.
We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home.
Due to the nature of the medical condition, a vet call with one of our onsite vets will be required before Thunder goes home.
Thunder could live with a similar sized female or castrated male, pending a onsite meet.
He is friendly with other dogs if not a little intense when first meeting, wanting to play. Being a large breed he can be too much for some dogs as he doesn’t realise his size.
If he doesn’t live with another dog he would enjoy having some walking buddies.
Thunder could live with children 11+ who are confidant around dogs and won’t mind his excitable, bouncy nature and size.
He absolutely loves his people and thinks he’s a lap dog, we are working on him keeping all 4 paws on the floor when greeting people which he is doing well with.
Thunder is a very playful boy with lots of energy. He will require a secure private garden with at least 6-foot fencing to safely enjoy his play time.
Meet Thunder, the perfect dog to weather all storms!
This boy is a tornado of fun, love and goofiness. This pooch is looking for an experienced home to call his own.
Thunder enjoys going on sniffy walks and playing with his soft toys! He is a big goofball and sometimes he doesn’t realise that he doesn’t fit in people’s laps!
Thunder needs a home where support with his ongoing training can be continued.
