Could you open your home to foster cats and kittens?
Fostering gives pregnant mums and their kittens the best possible start in life.
Hamsters are solitary creatures and should live alone.
Hamsters spend most of the day time hiding away and sleeping. They are most active during the evening and overnight.
Dwarf hamsters need a cage or a tank measuring 100cm wide, by 50cm deep, by 40cm high. If you have a cage the bar spacing should be no more than 7mm.
All hamsters need a minimum of 6 inches of substrate around most of their enclosure, with a deeper digging space of at least 10-12inches (25-30cms) to enable them to create burrows and nests.
Waffle is a curious little lad who will happily scout out his enclosure leaving no stone unturned, but also loves to return to his favourite spot to snuggle up in. He enjoys making burrows, rolling in his sand bath and climbing through many different tunnels. Waffle is good at being handled and enjoys coming out for some one on one time.
