Volunteer in our charity shops to make an enormous contribution to the work we do here at Woodgreen, helping us make a difference to the lives of pets and people across the UK.
Volunteering with Woodgreen in our charity shops is incredibly rewarding, for you and pets in need. You’ll get the opportunity to keep yourself busy while learning new skills, gain valuable experience, complete qualifications in retail, strengthen your CV and make new friends.
From customer sales advisors to fashion enthusiasts, drivers, donation sorters, till operators and PAT testers, there are a variety of exciting roles available.
Simply choose the shop you would like to volunteer with below. Please note, we are currently unable to accept applications from under 18s.

You do not need any previous work experience or qualifications. All you need is at least one referee and your commitment to Woodgreen.
It’s up to you, however much or as little time you wish to spare. All voluntary hours are negotiable and we will work around you.
Yes, we will provide all the training and support you need to help you perform your role confidently, effectively and safely.
Currently, you must be 18 years or older to become a charity shop volunteer; whether it’s for work experience, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or The Prince’s Trust scheme.
We’re committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of all our staff, volunteers and supporters involved in or affected by our work. Volunteers are expected to behave appropriately at all times and will be given thorough safeguarding training before starting to work for us. It is likely that you will volunteer alongside children and at risk adults and we expect you to be respectful of this, at all times. If you have any concerns regarding anyone (child or adult) while volunteering with us, please raise them with your staff contact, as soon as possible.
