Bailey wags the weight off

Meet Bailey. She was slightly above her ideal weight, with a body condition score of 6/9. Her owner needed some help with turning this around, so she brought her canine companion to Woodgreen. After a head-to-paw health check and a chat about Bailey’s lifestyle, our team put their heads together and came up with a plan. The aim was to get Bailey’s ‘score’ down to a healthier 5/9. This involved putting her on a special weight loss diet, as well as more exercise and playtime. Thankfully, Bailey isn’t the fussy sort, so the adjustment to her food would be, well, a walk in the park.

Bailey’s plan couldn’t have got off to a better start. What’s more, her owner was the winner of the Sure Petcare Tracker prize! Since then, she’s been in touch with regular updates about Bailey’s amazing progress, telling us: “After a few weeks following your advice and her new diet, Bailey’s harness was clearly too big for her.
