Yes

Can I live with cats?

No

Can I live with small pets?

Yes, conditionally - Could Live with Securely Housed Small Pets

Additional information

Amy has enjoyed making doggy friends here onsite. She gets on best with calm, well-rounded dogs who will give her the time and space to settle and begin playing at her own pace. If Amy were to live with another dog, an confident, easy-going and sociable companion would help her continue to build her confidence.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Amy finds meeting new people worrying and may try to avoid interaction, so her new owners will need to be patient and understanding of her sensitivities. Once she has built a bond with her people, she forms strong attachments and loves spending time with them, especially enjoying plenty of fuss and affection.

Due to her slightly nervous nature and her behaviours around unfamiliar people, we feel she would be best suited to an adult-only home.

What type of environment would suit me?

Amy will need her new home to have a private, secure garden with 6ft fencing.

About Amy

Amy is a sensitive lady who can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her affectionate and playful personality truly shines through. She’s cheeky, loving, and full of character, especially when she’s out enjoying her favourite walks where she can happily sniff and explore to her heart’s content.

Amy loves being close to her people and will often wake you in the morning with sweet kisses. She loves relaxing on the sofa once she is ready to snooze and when in a deep sleep is a little bit of a snorer!

She is looking for a calm, understanding home with someone who will be patient, help build her confidence, and advocate for her while she learns to feel secure. In the right home, Amy will make an incredibly loyal and loving companion.

German Shepherds are loyal watchdogs that love to keep their bodies and brains working overtime. Learn more about the breed at Ask Woodgreen.
