Additional information

Bodie does like other dogs, however sometimes a bit too much and this can lead to him barking at times on walks which we are doing training for and he is doing well with! We feel it is likely due to frustration behaviour and we can show you the training we have been doing when you come to meet him.

We feel that at present, he would be best as an only dog in his new home, where new owners can work on his training around other dogs.

Family and environment

What kind of family am I looking for?

Bodie is a friendly boy who loves people and making friends, but has shown that he doesn’t like being disturbed whilst resting and is unsure around children. Due to this, he will need to go to a home with adults only.

What type of environment would suit me?

Bodie needs a home with a fully secure garden with 6 foot fencing as he is a nosey boy and likes to jump up at the fencing to see what’s going on all around him. He also would love somewhere he can do those lurcher zoomies as cannot go off lead in public.

About Bodie

Bodie is a very gentle soul, and acts like an old soul despite his age! He is a gentleman and loves to have fuss and company from his friends. He enjoys his walks and saying hello to as many people as possible (although we are teaching him that not everyone loves dogs the same way he loves people!). He is a very grateful lurcher, often found relaxing and snuggled up somewhere cosy, or found munching on a long lasting chew.

Goofy, elegant and strong contenders for the best snoozers, there are many sides to the lovely Lurcher! Learn more about the breed at Ask Woodgreen.
